Symbol Design and Process Book

This process book explains the steps I took to create a new symbol for the Rio Summer Olympics symbol system. I created an icon for surfing that matched the original system. One of the challenges I faced during this process was creating the figure. Getting the curves and position just right was a difficult process, but by referencing other figures in the original system, I was able to create an icon that fit well into the Rio Summer Olympics symbol system.
